Tuesday morning, Jackson had his 4-year-old check-up. He has grown three and a half inches! He is in the 25th percentile for height and weight and is healthy as can be.
One morning, we all woke up before Jackson. We were getting ready for the day when all of a sudden we hear “Don’t forget about me!” coming from Jackson’s room repeated a few times.
Friday night Brian went camping with the young men. They were supposed to hike about a half mile to the cabin, but ended up taking the wrong trail. By the time they had backtracked and followed the right path, they had walked about 3.5 miles in six inches of snow. Despite having to carry all their gear, though, Brian enjoyed the hike and even saw a shrew.
While Brian was gone, Jackson, Grant and I met some friends at McDonald’s for dinner. The boys had a great time playing in the play land and went right to sleep after getting home. Saturday morning we went to the church for a knitting group.
Grant has been enjoying books more and more lately. This week he picked up, Click, Clack, Moo. Cows That Type. He keeps trying to say “click, clack, moo” but it sounds more like, “eh, eh, oooh.” He says, “boo” for Pooh; “ee-oh” for Eeyore and all the other friends.
