This week we spent a lot of time going to parks. Here are three moments we remember:
On Saturday at a park I showed Jackson an acorn and told him if he planted it in the ground it could grow a tree. He immediately buried it and, after a few seconds, he dug it up and with a big grin said, “Look! An acorn!” The magic of nature…
Grant walked 62 steps at the park, even crossing from concrete to grass. In all, he probably 20 feet. Even if his feet are four inches long, that makes each step only about four inches, which isn’t a great pace. But it’s a record in endurance for him.
At Lower Harbor Park, Grant laid down in the woodchips and started waving his arms around like he was swimming. No splinters that we’ve seen yet.
