More Pics from Colorado

The boys with their cousin, Eliza.

We went to Swetsville Zoo. All the animals were made
from scrap metal. The boys loved the dinosaurs.

In Which Grant Gives Jackson Flip Floppers
The flight home on Monday was uneventful. The boys had a rough moment on one of the flights, but as soon as I started a movie they were great. Grant also slept the whole second flight. They are still adjusting to the time zone change, but hopefully they will be over that soon.

Thursday afternoon Brian left for Green Bay to attend youth conference. He had a great time. I on the other hand had a crazy day. I make the newsletter for the Moms Club I’m in, and this month was a double issue. It took a lot more time than I wanted it to take, but I finally got it printed out Thursday morning. Thursday evening was the annual Moms club banquet, which was catered. I was in charge of the dessert, and we had a chocolate fountain. It turned out great and I managed to get it up and running on time.

Friday I ended up watching a friend’s kids while she picked something up in Wisconsin. We both thought it would only be for about 5-6 hours, that she’d be back around dinner time. Unfortunately for both of us, she ran into some problems and didn’t get back until 2 a.m. It was a long day.

One morning while we were still in Colorado, Grant and I were the only ones awake. He wanted to get his shoes on and he picked up a pair of Jackson’s flip flops or “flip floppers” if you ask Jackson. I told him that they were Jackson’s. Grant went into the room where Jackson was sleeping and set the shoes down on his face. Jackson didn’t even notice and I didn’t realize that Grant had done that until quite a while later.

A Day on the Lake

Tiny Town

There's this little town made up of little houses that has
a little train surrounding it. The boys loved playing in
the houses, but mostly they loved the train. We went
with Eliza, my brother's daughter (the baby) and my
sister's niece.
